But this hard working, talented and giving young lady has suffered more heartbreak than most do in an entire lifetime.
In 2019, Flintridge Sacred Heart escaped the previous two years in the league basement to earn a Sunshine League championship.
One year after finishing dead last in the Mission League, the Flintridge Sacred Heart softball program claimed the Sunshine League championship in 2019.
