Softball:

Miranda Roldan went the distance in the Baseline League opener for Etiwanda.

Roldan surrendered two runs on four hits in a 9-2 victory over St. Lucy’s.

She walked two and struck out six Regents’ batters.

Sofia Escoto singled and hit a two-run shot for St. Lucy’s.

Ana Serafinko was saddled with the loss.

Serafinko was charged with nine runs (eight earned) on 13 hits.

She didn’t walk anyone and struck out six.

Alissa Castaneda had a big day for the Eagles.

She singled, doubled, tripled, scored twice and drove in a run.

Karissa Munsey and Jailey Wilson doubled twice, scored and had an RBI apiece.

Odyssey Torres doubled, scored and drove in two runs.

Tristen Wren singled twice and scored two runs.

Elle Komara had an RBI single and Casey Fazzini singled and scored.

Summer Ramos also had an RBI single in the win.
