Softball:
It’s been a pretty memorable 24-hour period for San Dimas senior, Jordan Hill.
Last night, Hill was awarded the school’s Female Scholar Athlete of the Year award.
And on Wednesday, Hill went four scoreless innings in the circle and the Saints’ destroyed Northview, 23-0, in the Valle Vista League opener.
Hill allowed two hits, didn’t walk anyone and struck out eight to earn the win.
Sarah Diaz singled twice and Isabell Galvan had the other Vikings’ base hit.
But Hill wasn’t done contributing.
She doubled twice, scored two runs and had three RBIs.
Alexis Garcia went 2-for-4, with a walk, double, three runs scored and a pair of RBIs.
Gracie Strycula singled three times, scored three runs and drove in a pair.
Meah Almarez singled, doubled, walked twice, scored two runs and drove in two more.
Kelsey Barrett went 4-for-4, with four runs scored and an RBI.
Giselle Lopez had an RBI double and two runs scored.
Torii Brewer singled, doubled, drove in two runs and scored.
Riley Chavez had an RBI double and run scored, and Vivianna Ponce singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
Jackie Bowers singled two times and scored both times.
