Rodriguez allowed just an unearned run on three hits.
She walked one and fanned 12 in a 95-pitch outing.
Jackie Castaneda singled and scored.
Natalie Sosa and Kailee Miller singled to account for the rest of the Azusa offense.
Castaneda was saddled with the loss.
Castaneda surrendered eight runs (six earned) on eight hits over two innings.
She didn’t walk anyone and struck out two.
NHS got three runs off Juliana Canizales on eight hits.
Canizales went five innings, walked five and struck out one.
Ariel Fierro walked, singled, doubled twice, drove in three runs and scored.
Caitlyn Wilson went 3-for-5, with two RBIs and a run.
Amber Rodriguez had three singles and scored twice from the leadoff spot.
Breyawna Tucker walked, singled twice and scored three times.
