Softball:
After eight days off, Glendora finally got to dust off their bats.
And after going scoreless in the bottom of the first and second innings, GHS got 10 combined runs in the third and fourth to cruise to a 10-1 victory over Colony.
Ashley Hibbard got the win in the circle.
Hibbard allowed one run on four hits over her four-inning outing.
She didn’t walk anyone and struck out five.
Marissa Duarte (2 innings) and Haley Ganino (1) went the final three scoreless innings for the Tartans.
Hibbard helped her own cause, going 3-for-4, including a double and two RBIs.
Haley Ganino singled, tripled, drove in four and scored twice.
Ryan Speh singled twice and drove in three runs.
