Tiara Westbrook Goes Distance in Arcadia’s 4-2 Victory Over San Dimas

Softball:

Arcadia got a strong effort in the circle from Tiara Westbrook and the Apaches defeated San Dimas, 4-2, on Monday.

The victory extended the Apaches’ win streak to six games.

Westbrook went the distance and allowed two runs (one earned) on nine hits.

She didn’t walk anyone and fanned five.

Noelle Estephan singled twice and doubled and Alexis Garcia singled and scored for the Saints.

Jordan Hill had an RBI double and Meah Almaraz singled, scored and drove in a run.

Hill was saddled with the loss after allowing four runs on five hits over her four innings of work.

She walked one and struck out two Apaches’ batters.

Tiana Smith singled, homered and drove in two runs.

Averi Wong had an RBI double and Isabella Aspeitia walked, singled and scored a pair of runs.

Lawryn Chen had an RBI and Morgan Howey, Tiara Westbrook and Giselle Lai had one single apiece in Monday’s win.

Up next: Arcadia will host Muir today (Tuesday) at 3:30 in a Pacific League contest and San Dimas will welcome Northview to their campus on Wednesday.
