Girls Basketball:
La Salle snapped its three-game Del Rey League losing streak on Tuesday.
The Lancers edged their visitors from St. Paul, 48-44.
It’s La Salle’s third victory over the Lady Swordsmen in 2023-24.
St. Paul went on an 18-8 run in the fourth period to close the gap to four points.
Audrey Chen hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored a team-high 15 for the Lancers.
Casey Higgins chipped in with 10 points, and Kaden Cortes had eight.
Loretta Aguirre-Colmenero had game-highs in 3-pointers made (3) and points scored (24).
Sara Guajardo-Rivera contributed 11 points for St. Paul.
Up next: La Salle will host South Pasadena on Saturday.
