Los Osos evened its series with Rancho Cucamonga at one-game apiece.

The Grizzlies defeated the Cougars, 4-1, on Wednesday afternoon.

Cole Monsen went five innings and allowed an unearned run on one hit in the bottom of the fifth inning.

He walked two and struck out five.

Ayden Holker went two scoreless and hitless innings to secure the save.

Wilson Dunn singled and scored for Rancho Cucamonga.

Nicolas Sanchez was stuck with the loss.

Sanchez allowed two runs on five hits over his four-inning stint.

He didn’t walk anyone and struck out three.

Drake Job singled, doubled and scored.

Devean Alvarez singled and scored, and Noe Romero singled twice, scored and had an RBI.

Tyler Mohler singled, doubled and scored.

Kyle Fostenberry had an RBI base hit in the win.

Up next: The Grizzlies and Cougars will finish their three-game series Friday at Los Osos.
