Baseball:
Pasadena got a solid effort from the Derosier brothers on Wednesday.
Dylan got the win on the mound and Kaleb doubled and tripled in the Bulldogs’ 5-2 victory at John Glenn High School in Norwalk.
David Schriefer went the first three innings, and he surrendered an unearned run on three hits.
Schriefer walked one and struck out four.
Dylan Derosier was charged with an unearned run on one hit and three walks.
And Fabio Castillo earned the save by striking out the side in the seventh inning.
Josiah Alcala and Jonah Mason walked and scored one run apiece.
Matthew Sy drove in a run on a sac fly.
Robert Rodriguez, Sebastian Sanchez, Brandon Rivera and Raymond Acosta had one hit apiece for the Eagles.
James Alvarez was stuck with the loss after surrendering three runs on two hits and two walks over 1 1/3 innings.
With the game tied at 2-2, PHS scored three times in the top of the seventh inning.

Fabio Castillo had an RBI single in the first inning and a two-run single in the seventh.
Ian Van Zyl singled, doubled and scored a pair of runs.
Adrian Oseguera walked, scored and had an RBI ground out.
Harrison Gwaltney and Jayden Mendoza had one single apiece for PHS.
Up next: The Bulldogs finish out their two-game Pacific League series with Glendale on Saturday at GHS.
