Ayala continues to inch closer to another Palomares League title.
The Bulldogs secured a 3-1 victory over visiting Glendora to improve to 9-1 in league play.
Allie Lukaszewicz did the heavy lifting.
Lukaszewicz went the distance and allowed an unearned run on one hit.
She issued one walk and registered six strikeouts.
Ryan Torres had the lone base hit.
And Morgan Gonzalez reached base on an error, and she scored the Tartans run.
Gianna Messick went all six for GHS, and she was charged with three runs (two earned) on six hits.
Messick didn’t walk a batter, and she struck out three.
Marisa Dominguez went 2-for-3 and scored.
Taelor Walker singled and scored.
McKenzie Becerra and Nicole Chandler had an RBI single apiece.
Lilanna Acosta doubled.
Jordyn Balingit and Jayden Tamura had one single apiece for the Bulldogs.
