Marshall Fundamental remains in title contention.
The Eagles dominated Mountain View, 10-0, in six innings.
With five Mission Valley League games to play, Marshall trails first place South El Monte by one game.
And the Eagles get a shot at SEM on April 30th.
Caleb Thatcher controlled throughout and tossed a two-hit six-inning shutout.
Thatcher didn’t issue a walk and struck out 13.
Thatcher helped his own cause by going 1-for-3 with a walk and scored two runs.
Nate Callaway doubled and scored a pair of runs.
Trevor Lain went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.
Elijah Lain singled twice and drove in a run.
Adan Castro singled, scored twice and drove in a pair.
Ryan Pandullo had one double and an RBI.
Nathan Mann went 1-for-1 with two RBIs.
George Jennings had one RBI and Sandro DiClaudio scored once for the Eagles.
The Eagles will host Gabrielino on Thursday at 3:30.
