This time last year, Glendora was 3-6.

Thus far, the Tartans have flipped the script on the 2024 season.

After Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over Upland, GHS finds itself 6-3 through the first nine games of 2025.

Aaron Jacobsen and Tanner Grable combined on a three-hit shutout.

Jacobsen were five scoreless and surrendered three hits to earn the win.

He didn’t issue a walk and registered three strikeouts.

Grable got the final six outs without allowing a hit, walking one and striking out a pair of Highlanders.

Elliot Cresap doubled, while Edgar Estrada and Jaedan Quemada had one single apiece to account for the rest of the UHS offense.

Dylan Webb got the loss.

Webb allowed two runs on five hits over five innings.

Mason Danison walked and scored.

Up next: Weather permitting, GHS will host Downey today (Thursday) at 3:30.
