Softball:
Pasadena catcher Maddie Fraer had a game that all softball (or baseball) players dream of having.
Fraer went 4-for-4, with a walk, double and three home runs, including a grand slam.
The PHS senior scored four runs and had an incredible nine RBIs.
Pasadena cruised to a 14-3 victory over Hoover.
Alyssa Perez doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs.
Hannah McWade singled twice and scored.
Darla Burnett singled and scored.
Johanna Contreras doubled and scored.
Kaylee McKenzie doubled and crossed the plate twice.
Jazmin Jaquez singled and scored twice.
Violet Chandler singled, scored and drove in a run, and Sandy Vo singled and scored.
Isabella Armas scored and had an RBI in the win.
Jazmin Jaquez went the distance, allowing three unearned runs on seven hits.
She walked five and fanned 10 Hoover batters.
