Boys Basketball:
Etiwanda opened Baseline League play with a 69-50 victory over visiting Chino Hills.
Carrington Pierce led EHS with 17 points, including three 3-pointers.
Christian Harris contributed 12 points and Curtis Williams had nine.
Chino Hills’ Logan Jereczek led all scorers with 19 points, and he had three 3-pointers of his own.
Brandon Monye chipped in with nine points for CHHS.
Up next: The Eagles will face West Ranch (16-1) tonight (Saturday) in the So Cal Showdown at Pasadena City College.
The tip is set for 7.
The Huskies will also be in action tonight.
They travel to Chino (6-10) at 6.
