La Salle cruised to an 8-0 victory at El Rancho in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs.
Adrian Hernandez went six scoreless innings to earn the win.
Hernandez allowed two hits, walked one and struck out five ERHS batters.
Morgan Sullivan got the final three outs for the Lancers.
Nate Preciado tripled, and Noah Rios and Angelo Martinez had one single apiece for the Dons.
Stephan Ramirez got the loss after allowing three runs on six hits over four innings.
Ramirez walked one and fanned one La Salle batter.
Travis Ochoa went 2-for-4 with a walk and two RBIs.
Peter Callihan singled, scored and had one RBI.
Isaiah Romero went 2-for-4.
David Mysza doubled and scored.
AC Nieto singled and scored a pair of runs.
Moses Aguirre drew a pair of walks, singled and scored twice.
Hunter Vigil singled, scored and had two RBIs.
Chris Cardenas singled once for the Lancers.
Drew Ward singled twice and drove in one.
Up next: La Salle will host Los Alamitos on Tuesday afternoon.
