Girls Tennis:
San Dimas advanced to the quarterfinal round of the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs after Friday’s 12-6 victory over visiting Jurupa Valley.
The Saints doubles teams (Abby Bernhard/Mila Mattson, Abigail Robles/Mehraiel Matta, Sophia Cabalfin/Sophia Albasha) won eight of their nine matches.
Lexis Hsieh went 2-1 in singles, while Maya DeLeon and Sydney Tatevossian both won one of their three matches on Friday.
Up next: San Dimas will travel to Quartz Hill in Monday’s quarterfinal round.
The Royals defeated Bolsa Grande, 13-5, in Friday’s second round.
