Girls Volleyball:
West Covina went out to Hesperia High School on Saturday to compete in the all-day Scorpion Classic.
The Lady Bulldogs came home with a solid 3-2 record after victories over San Gorgonio, AB Miller and Sultana.
Hesperia and undefeated Chaminade handed WCHS their two setbacks.
Madi Schleif made the all-tournament team after finishing the day with 35 kills 20 digs.
Morgan Munns contributed 44 assists and 15 aces.
Genevieve Nacon had 45 digs and 24 aces.
Up next: West Covina will open Valle Vista League play on Monday, as they welcome San Dimas to their gym.
