Girls Volleyball:
The West Covina girls volleyball program had a really solid Wednesday.
In a span of approximately four hours, the Bulldogs won three matches.
In their first contest, WCHS picked up a two-set sweep over New Roads by scores of 25-23 and 25-14.
Jazmin Burnett had four kills in the win.
Next up was a showdown with Flintridge Prep.
WCHS earned a 25-21, 19-25 and 15-9.
Madi Schlief hit .357 and Morgan Munn contributed eight digs, seven assists and four aces.
In Wednesday’s finale, the Bulldogs defeated Providence by scores of 25-21, 23-25 and 15-7.
Morgan Munn and Tina Tim chipped in with seven kills each.
Natalia Lomeli added eight digs.
Up next: WCHS will travel to San Gabriel today (Thursday) at 3:15.
