Quotable:
Chino Hills senior, Andrew Baldomino: “As a team, we reacted very well to the Rancho Cucamonga loss last week. We used the film to see where we were at as a program and what adjustments we needed to make. We had an amazing week of practice before the Mira Costa game. Everyone was dialed in and wanting to keep this thing going. This was one of my best football games. I didn’t want this to end. I had a forced fumble and recovered a fumble, and I felt like this was going to be a great game. Azari Warren gave us a ton of momentum with his two kickoff returns for touchdowns. Jacob Jimenez is always giving 100-percent and he’s always trying to get a first down to move the chains. Everyone played their part. But we have areas we need to get better. I’d like to see us fix some minor mistakes. Our ability to fight back when we’re down and play under pressure is what makes me most proud about this group.”
