Volleyball:
Bonita opened Palomares League play with a five-set victory over their visitors from Ayala.
And BHS rallied from a two-games to one deficit.
The Bearcats won by scores of 25-21, 20-25, 23-25, 25-21 and 15-9.
Sophomore Elle Howie had a big night with 24 kills and six digs.
Junior Sara Yeats contributed 14 kills and eight digs.
Sophomore Cassidy Howard totaled 50 assists and two aces.
Junior captain Maddie Van Duyne produced 12 kills and three aces.
