Volleyball:
Bonita had one final dance rehearsal before beginning league play on Wednesday.
The Bearcats fell in five at Alta Loma on Tuesday evening.
ALHS won by scores of 19-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-23 and 15-10.
Junior Sara Yeats had a big night with 20 kills, three blocks and eight digs.
Sophomore Elle Howie contributed 12 kills, two blocks and an ace.
Junior Kayla Knight chipped in with 10 kills and eight digs.
Up next: The Bearcats host Ayala tonight (Wednesday) at 5:30 in the Palomares League opener for both programs.
