Glendora improved its Palomares League record to 4-0 after Tuesday’s 9-0 victory over Walnut.
Through the first four league games, GHS has outscored Ayala, Diamond Bar, Claremont and Walnut by a combined margin of 31-3.
Gianna Messick tossed a five-hit shutout to earn the win.
Messick walked one and fanned a trio of Walnut batters.
Rihanna Jimenez singled and doubled for the Mustangs.
Allisyn Reyes got the loss after surrendering nine runs (five earned) on 11 hits over six innings of work.
Reyes issued four walks and registered a pair of strikeouts.
Kaylie Winovitch went 2-for-4 with two walks and a pair of RBIs.
Morgan Gonzalez tripled, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.
Kylie Coleman walked and scored twice.
Messick singled, scored and had one RBI.
Kennedy Bowers had three singles and scored three times.
Rylee Franks drew a pair of walks and singled.
Olivia Stemmler and Elizabeth Dominguez singled, and Maddy Stone scored one run.
