Girls Tennis:
West Covina just finished the first round of Valle Vista League play 3-2.
The Lady Bulldogs defeated Charter Oak, 11-7, thanks to six team points in singles and five more from their doubles teams.
Singles players Ferrla Xu and Julia Renteria both went 3-0 for WCHS.
The doubles teams of Alyssa Ing and Megan Ly, and Kristina Fuentes and Jenny Tang won two sets apiece in the win.
Alaina Sandoval and Ashley Lozada earned one team point for West Covina.
Up next: The Bulldogs will host Northview on Thursday afternoon.
