Last season, Etiwanda needed a September 30th home win against Chino Hills to share the 2022 Baseline League title with the Huskies.
Fast forward to 2023, and the Eagles opened league play with an exclamation mark.
EHS swept visiting Chino Hills by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-13.
CHHS entered Tuesday’s contest at 14-2.
Brooke Hansen had eight kills on 13 attempts, as well as eight digs, eight assists and an ace.
Nina Hemsley provided 13 kills and an ace.
Lauren Furnald chipped in with five kills and three aces.
Alina Parrales contributed 10 digs, six assists and a pair of aces.
Keira Andrews finished with 12 assists, six aces and two digs.
