Quotable:
Marshall Fundamental coach, Jeffrey Thai: “It was really good to have a full week off from competing, because we got to go into practice and correct certain things that weren’t working well for us. That really paid off in this match. Our bench came into this match wanting to make an impact and they did. Kayla Estrada and Jayli Figueroa had some amazing digs. Allegra, Paloma, and Isabel came in with a lot of energy and passed really well for us. Our fans were amazing as usual and we thank them for their continued support. This win was very good for our program, but we are already looking towards next week as we prepare for the real season, which is the playoffs. The players will get two days off before we get back into the gym and turn practice up a notch.”
