Girls Volleyball:
West Covina picked up win No. 1 of the 2022 season.
And it didn’t come easy.
The Bulldogs edged visiting Chino by scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-14, 21-25 and 15-13.
Krizia Caradang led the way with 12 kills 10 digs and three aces.
And Caradang’s fellow senior, Aliana Solorzano, contributed 10 digs and nine aces.
Anisa Palm and Brianna Cervantez chipped in with 12 assists apiece.
Up next: WCHS will travel to Montclair on Thursday at 4:30.
