West Covina evened its Valle Vista League record at 2-2, after the two-game sweep on winless Diamond Ranch.
The Bulldogs, behind Adrian Flores, shut out the Panthers, 8-0, on Friday.
Flores allowed just two hits, didn’t issue a walk and struck out eight.
Issac Ruiz singled, scored and had an RBI.
Adrian Gayosso singled, doubled and drove in a run.
Jacob Nguyen had an RBI triple and scored.
Marco Renteria doubled, scored and had one RBI.
Victor Mendoza went 2-for-4, with a run and two RBIs.
Evan Buhac singled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Up next: WCHS will host San Dimas on Wednesday.
