Arcadia improved to 2-0 in 2022 after Wednesday’s 1-0 victory at South Hills.
The Apaches picked up the game’s only run in the top of the first inning, as Lance Wong scored on a wild pitch.
Sterling Patick was a tough-luck loser on Wednesday.
Patick had an outstanding outing, allowing just an unearned run on one hit.
He walked one and struck out six Arcadia batters.
Devon Eskridge, Hunter Victorio, Daniel Chavez, Ari Nurhadi and Zach Huerta all singled for the Apaches.
Ian Hofstetter went 6 2/3 scoreless innings to pick up the win.
Hofstetter allowed just two hits, walked two and struck out four South Hills batters.
Gabriel Lopez got the final out of the game via strikeout and earned the save.
Andrew Ramirez and Damien Cornejo had one single apiece to account for the South Hills offense.
