Boys Soccer:
Marshall Fundamental picked up its second postseason victory this week.
Two days after edging Ontario Christian in the Wild Card round of the CIF-SS Division 6 playoffs, Marshall Fundamental was back in action on Friday.
The Eagles traveled to Elsinore, and were trailing 1-0 approximately 20 minutes into the contest.
But who else came to the rescue?
Eduardo Reyes, as always.
Reyes scored a pair of first-half goals, the first of which was a header, and Marshall defeated Elsinore, 3-1.
Iori Santiago punched in a second-half goal to give the boys from Pasadena a two-goal cushion.
Rayshon Robert finished with 15 big saves.
Up next: The Eagles will host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy on Tuesday.
The Griffins (12-0-1) defeated Brentwood, 5-2, on Friday.
