College Baseball:
Ryan Graves, in just his second start since Tommy John Surgery, continues to impress.
The La Canada High grad went four scoreless innings and allowed three hits.
Graves got the win, walking one, and striking out a pair of Irvine Valley College batters.
The Lasers got to Benny Olguin for six runs (four earned) on nine hits.
Olguin walked one and struck out four.
Chase Pedersen closed out the victory with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Adrian Reveles went 3-5 with a run scored and two RBIs.
Nolan Cusey also collected three hits, scored once and had one RBI.
Nate Madole got the loss after surrendering 10 runs (nine earned) on 10 hits over his four innings of work.
Madole walked two and struck out a pair of PCC batters.
Mekhi Wright, David Mendoza and Nate Skorheim combined to go the final four innings for IVC and allowed just an unearned run on two hits.
Raider Tello had a two-run triple in the third and finished with three RBIs.
Andrew Scannell went 2-for-4, with a double and a three-run triple in the fourth inning.
Max Blessinger walked twice, singled, doubled and scored a pair of runs.
Marco Martinez had an RBI single and scored twice.
Kenny Kim walked, singled and scored two runs for PCC.
Jake Trabbie drew two walks, singled, had an RBI double and scored three times.
Matthew Delgado went 2-4, with two singles, an RBI and run scored.
Former Muir center fielder, Aryonis Harrison, doubled in Friday’s win.
In Ryan Graves’ two starts, he’s combined to go seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits.
He’s walked one and struck out five.
Up next: PCC will be in action this morning (Saturday).
The Lancers travel to LA Harbor College to battle San Joaquin Delta at 10 a.m.
With victories over LA Pierce and Irvine Valley, PCC has earned its spot in this morning’s championship game of the SoCal Challenge Tournament.
