Football:
Through the first four games of its 2025 season, Burbank scored exactly 200 points, and on the field, they were 4-0.
The Bulldogs near 30-point victory at San Dimas in week zero got reversed after it was revealed an ineligible player had competed for BHS.
Last week, Burbank put up 49 points in a 21-point victory at Crescenta Valley.
And in steps Muir, which is considered the class of the Pacific League in 2025.
The Mustangs cruised to a 58-28 victory at BHS.
MHS led 35-14 at the break.
Burbank got as close as 38-28 midway through the third quarter, but the Mustangs would score the game’s final 20 points.
Trey Gamble was solid behind center.
Gamble completed 16-of-22 for 305 yards.
And that included four TD passes.
Alijah Smith had a big night with five receptions for 153 yards and two scores.
Deveon Blaylock totaled 115 receiving yards on five catches.
Blaylock reeled in a 29-yard TD pass from Gamble.
Alijah Parker led MHS with 83 yards on 11 carries.
Parker had TD runs of 9 and 24 yards.
Zion McDonald gained 54 yards on six carries.
