Volleyball:
After beginning the season 1-2, the Bonita volleyball program has won three consecutive matches and five of their last six.
In the last seven days, BHS swept Chino and Don Lugo.
And today (Tuesday) Bonita defeated visiting Rancho Cucamonga in four sets.
The Bearcats claimed victory by scores of 25-8, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-10.
Junior captain Sara Yeats had a big match.
Yeats contributed 18 kills, three aces and 14 digs.
Elle Howie, a sophomore, chipped in with eight kills and a block.
Up next: The Bearcats travel to Charter Oak on Thursday evening at 6.
