Volleyball:
Rancho Cucamonga opened its 2025 season with just two wins in eight matches.
This week, though, the Cougars went 2-1.
On Tuesday, RCHS edged Santiago in five games.
Fast forward two days, and Rancho Cucamonga swept their visitors from Ontario Christian.
RCHS won by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-17.
Jayla Jackson had nine kills.
Kailynn Taliaupupu chipped in with seven kills.
Audrey Chu added 24 assists, three aces and seven digs.
Olivia Bliss finished with 21 digs.
Up next: The Cougars travel to Bonita on Tuesday at 4:30.
