Volleyball:
After dropping the first four matches of the 2025 season, Rancho Cucamonga has claimed a pair of victories.
And for the second consecutive contest, the Cougars overcame a 2-1 deficit to win in five games.
RCHS defeated Claremont by scores of 25-16, 21-25, 21-25, 25-14 and 15-9.
Audrey Chu had 17 assists and six aces.
Olivia Bliss added three aces and 13 digs.
Kailynn Taliapupu chipped in with six blocks and five kills.
And Lyric Kelly provided seven blocks and five kills.
Up next: The Cougars travel to Murrieta Valley on Thursday night at 6:30.
