After edging Chino Hills (3-2) in their Baseline League opener, Los Osos took any and all drama out of game two of their three-game set with the Huskies.

The Grizzlies crushed their visitors, 17-0, on Wednesday.

LOHS out-hit CHHS, 19-2, and they had a 7-0 advantage in extra-base hits.

Los Osos got at least three runs off four Chino Hills pitchers.

Eleven Grizzlies had at least one hit on Wednesday.

Jordan Mejico, Presten Young and Aedan Holloway combined on a two-hit shutout.

Mejico went five innings, allowing two hits, walking a pair, and he fanned two CHHS batters.

Young and Holloway went one scoreless and hitless inning apiece.

Young walked three batters in the sixth inning, and the Huskies were still unable to score a run.

Josh Mendez walked and singled.

Frankie Brazil singled to account for the rest of CHHS’ offense.

Max Zaldivar got roughed up for six runs on eight hits over three innings.

Zaldivar walked one and struck out three LOHS batters.

Josh Chairez went 2-for-4 with a walk, double, grand slam HR and three runs scored.

Roberto Topete had one single, a pair of doubles, two runs and an RBI.

Wyatt Mohler went 2-for-5 with two runs, a solo HR and an RBI single.

Justin Yeutter had three singles, scored one run and drove in one.

Hunter Meyer went 3-for-4 with a double, three runs and two RBIs.

Reagan Samples walked, scored and had an RBI double.

Aaron Rojas, Aaron Flores and John Flores singled and scored one run apiece.

Bryce Anderson drove in a run on a sac fly.
