Monrovia retained its share of the Rio Hondo League’s top spot (with La Canada) after its 6-3 victory at Temple City.
The Wildcats extended their current win streak to eight games.
James Quesenbery was credited with the win after going 4 1/3 innings and allowing three runs on five hits.
Quesenbery walked one and fanned three.
Maddox Morales went 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief and allowing just one hit.
He issued one walk and registered three strikeouts.
Sutton Powers got the final three outs without allowing a run or hit.
Josh Jones walked, singled, doubled and scored.
Nicholas Palomo went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run double in the bottom of the first inning.
