College Baseball:

Chaffey opened its three-game IEAC series with a 17-2 victory at San Bernardino Valley College.

The Panthers out-hit the Wolverines, 19-7, on Tuesday.

Jackson Price earned the win after going six innings and allowing two runs on five hits.

Price walked three and struck out seven batters.

Adrian Diaz went 2-for-4 and drove in both SBVC runs.

Tanner Horwath doubled and scored.

Will Van Dyke was charged with four runs on five hits over one inning.

Van Dyke walked one and fanned one Chaffey batter.

Dominick Torrez went 4-for-5 with three runs and a pair of RBIs.

Ryder Young walked, hit a two-run HR, doubled, scored three runs and drove in two.

Cameron Casado singled and hit a three-run HR.

Derek Almeda drew three walks, doubled and scored a pair of runs.

Jaden St. Cyr went 2-for-4 from the leadoff spot with a walk, double, three runs and three RBIs.

Ryan Melton singled, doubled, scored and drove in three.

AJ Hurtado went 3-for-3 with a walk, double, two ns and one RBI.

Austin Easter singled twice and scored.

Up next: The Panthers will host the Wolverines on Thursday at 2.
