The dominating Muir postseason tour will continue for at least one more game.
The Mustangs now have CIF-SS Division 7 wins over Coastal Christian (8-4), Orangewood Academy (14-4) and Academy of Careers & Exploration (23-3).
Muir out-hit ACE, 26-4, including a 14-2 edge in extra-base hits.
Gianna Butler went the distance to earn the win.
Butler surrendered three runs on four hits.
She issued four walks and struck out 10 Eagles’ batters.
Addison Shockley went 2-for-3 with a double, run and one RBI.
Danaka Pelayes walked, singled and drove in a pair of runs.
Bethany White walked, doubled and scored.
Aniya Edwards allowed 12 runs (three earned) on 10 hits over 4 2/3 innings.
Edwards issued three walks and struck out five Muir batters.
Emily Castrejon was charged with 11 runs (nine earned) on 11 hits and three walks over 2 1/3 innings.
Butler went 3-for-6 with a double, HR, two runs and four RBIs.
Jazmin Jaquez had two doubles, three singles, two runs and one RBI.
Gabriella Milton went 4-for-6 with a double, triple, three runs and she drove in three.
Abigail Milton drew three walks, doubled, homered, scored three times and had three RBIs.
Jasmine Collins walked, singled twice, doubled, scored two runs and had a pair of RBIs.
Eriel Wallace went 2-for-5 with a triple, run and three RBIs.
Erica Wallace singled, doubled, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.
Alyssa Perez drew a pair of walks, had two doubles, three runs and two RBIs.
Ariel Flores went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and one RBI.
Emily Soto singled and scored.
Up next: Muir will face Eastside on Saturday with a spot in the D-7 finals at stake.
The Lions (21-11) thumped Cathedral City, 19-1, on Thursday.
