Baseball:
For the second consecutive game, Glendora had a lead in the middle innings against the Palomares League champs.
And for the second straight game, Bonita rallied and went on to defeat the Tartans.
On Wednesday, GHS led 3-0 in the fourth, and they possessed a 3-2 advantage as the game entered the bottom of the sixth inning at BHS.
The Bearcats, however, scored four times in the bottom of the sixth and they claimed a 6-3 victory.
Aaron Jacobsen went 6 1/3 innings and he was charged with six runs on seven hits.
Jacobsen issued one walk and he struck out three Bonita batters.
Jared Brunk walked, scored twice, and his two-run HR in the fourth pulled Bonita to within 3-2.
Diego Villa went 2-for-3 with two runs and his RBI single in the sixth got the Bearcats even at 3-3.
Diego Vazquez doubled and scored.
Colton Perez scored, and his RBI double gave Bonita its first lead at 4-3.
Spencer Savage had an RBI ground out.
Corbin Duffield went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Jayden Rodriguez-Bernal went five innings, and he allowed three unearned runs on three hits.
He walked three and struck out six GHS batters.
Corbin Duffield went two scoreless to earn the win after the Bearcats scored the go-ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Duffield allowed one hit and walked one.
Troy Estrada walked, singled and scored.
Tyler Obert walked and his RBI single in the third gave GHS a 3-0 lead.
Aidan Yamazaki walked and scored.
Caleb Nguyen and Mizuki Williamson had one single apiece for the Tartans.
Mason Danison reached base on an error, and he scored in the third inning.
Up next: The Tartans host the Bearcats on Friday at 3:30 in the regular season finale.
