La Salle Pounded St. Lucy’s Pitching for 16 Hits in Friday’s 13-10 Victory; Lancers Scored Eight Combined Runs in Sixth & Seventh Innings

Softball:

La Salle came out the winner in Friday’s 13-10 slugfest at St. Lucy’s.

The Lancers scored three runs in the sixth inning and five more in the seventh to outlast the Regents.

Bella Ferrari owes her offense a big thank you for having her back.

Ferrari got the win in spite of surrendering 10 runs (nine earned) on 13 hits and six walks.

Offensive, the Lancers pounded out 16 hits.

Kaeley Aldana went 2-for-5, with two runs and four RBIs.

Jaslene Meza walked, doubled and drove in three runs.

Olivia Ferrari walked, singled four times and scored four runs.

Bella Ferrari went 3-for-5, with a double and two runs.

Matea Cepielik singled twice and finished with three RBIs.

Alyssa Lewis drew a pair of walks, singled twice, scored three runs and had one RBI.

Jessica Young walked, singled, scored and drove in one.

Up next: The Lancers will host Cantwell Sacred Heart (2-4, 1-3) on Monday at 3:15.
