Gianna Messick Goes Distance, Allowing One Run & Striking Out 15 in Glendora’s 4-1 Palomares League Victory at Colony

Softball:

Glendora picked up Palomares League victory No. 1 of the 2024 season.

And much of the credit goes to sophomore pitcher, Gianna Messick.

Messick went the distance, allowing one run on six hits.

Messick issued one walk and struck out 15 Colony batters.

Olivia Stemmler went 2-for-4, with an RBI and she scored a pair of runs.

Laurel Curiel doubled and scored.

Elizabeth Lusk singled and scored.

Samantha Meyer singled and had an RBI.

Kylie Coleman drove in a run on a sac fly.

Allison Waite and Kennedy Bowers had one single apiece for the Tartans.

Up next: The Tartans travel to Bonita on Friday afternoon at 3:30.
