Glendora saw its 2023-24 season come to an end after a brutal third quarter.

The Tartans fell, 56-52, at South Pasadena in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 2AA playoffs.

SPHS led GHS 33-32 at the break, and the Tigers outscored the Tartans, 19-4, in the third period.

Glendora would go on a 16-4 run in the fourth, but they came up just short.

Dylan Tse had a game-high 25 points for South Pasadena, including three 3-pointers.

Kayla Boozer chipped in with 13 points, and Jamie Rain Kim had eight for the Tigers.

Glendora also saw the high school career of its most prolific scorer, Rylie Anderson, conclude on Thursday evening.

Rylie Anderson leaves as the all-time leading scorer in program history and a far better person.
