Girls Basketball:
Glendora earned a spot in its own tournament final on Saturday night.
The Tartans did that by edging Alemany, 56-50, on Friday.
GHS needed an 18-13 fourth-quarter run to defeat the Warriors.
Brianna Gomez had a team-high 19 points, including three 3-pointers.
Reagan Herrman provided 16 points and Rylie Anderson chipped in with 13.
Kate Hackney led Alemany with 20 points.
Delilah Caudillo hit five 3’s and finished with 16 points.
For the first time all season, Glendora had just four players score on Friday.
Rebekah Zweerink chipped in with eight points in the win.
The Tartans extended their current win streak to 15 games.
Up next: GHS will host Fairmont Prep (13-3) at 8 in the Glendora Tournament title game.
