Things didn’t look good early for Marshall Fundamental in Thursday’s Mission Valley League showdown against their visitor from Rosemead.
The Panthers took a 3-1 lead into the half.
But the Eagles would regroup and scored twice in the second half, and they settled for a 3-3 tie.
Michael Hernandez got Marshall on the board in the first half.
Axel Escolero and Kevin Ramirez had second-half goals to secure the tie for the Eagles.
Angel Capistran blocked three shots in goal in the first half.
And Rayshon Robert had five saves for Marshall in the second half.
Up next: The Eagles travel to Arroyo on Tuesday at 3:15.
