Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Sacred Heart started and finished Thursday’s game about as well as one could hope.
The Tologs outscored Mayfield, 11-0, in the first period, and 17-2 in the fourth quarter, to claim a 53-29 victory.
Emily Petrosyan led the way with 23 points.
Isabelle Risha chipped in with seven points, and Ava Nawrocki had six points in the win.
Grace Adair and Sophia Astacaan contributed five points apiece for FSHA.
Up next: The Tologs will host Temple City tonight (Friday) at 5.
The Rams (0-1) dropped their season opener at Arcadia, 44-40, on Wednesday evening.
