Ayala heads into the final three games of the regular season with a two-game lead over Bonita atop the Palomares League standings.
In Thursday’s first game, the Bulldogs cruised to a 10-0 victory in five innings.
Nicole Chandler tossed a five-hit shutout.
Chandler walked a pair of Mustangs and fanned six.
Offensively, Jasmine Peralez singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
Viviana Jilek doubled in a run.
Ashlyn Hames, McKenzie Becerra and Jordyn Balingit had one single and one RBI apiece.
Mariah Holguin and Isol Lopez singled and scored two runs each.
Aubrie Coletta went 1-for-3 with a run and one RBI.
Marisa Dominguez scored one run and had one RBI, and Taelor Walker had an RBI of her own.

Hames issued one walk and fanned four WHS batters.
Rihanna Jimenez singled to account for the Mustangs’ offense.
Cynthia Phong got roughed up for 11 runs (six earned) on 13 hits over four innings.
Phong walked one and fanned one AHS batter.
Marisa Dominguez went 2-for-4 with a double, run and four RBIs.
Jayden Tamura singled, doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Viviana Jilek singled and scored two runs.
Taelor Walker went 3-for-4 and scored three times.
