Western Christian opened the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs with a 10-4 victory over Bishop Amat.
Anaiyah Jimenez got the loss for Amat.
She allowed six runs on five hits over two-plus innings.
Jimenez walked one and fanned four Western Christian batters.
Marilyn Beauvais went 3-for-3 with a walk, two home runs and three RBIs.
Giada Partida walked, singled, homered and drove in five runs.
Aryana Munoz walked, singled and scored a pair of runs.
Brooklyn Lee hit a solo HR.
Abby Frey walked, singled and scored twice.
CJ Aguilar singled twice, and AJ Quintana had one base hit.
Brooke Whiteman scored and had one RBI.
Aguilar went the distance to earn the win.
She surrendered four runs on seven hits and three walks.
Julyssa Jimenez walked, doubled, scored and had an RBI.
Arianna Saldivar singled, doubled and scored.
