Karson Zavala tossed a one-hit shutout in Ayala’s 10-0 Palomares League victory over Claremont.
Zavala issued one walked and struck out six over the six-inning game.
Abby Moran got roughed up for 10 runs (seven earned) on 13 hits.
Moran walked four and fanned five AHS batters.
Tehya Banks singled, doubled, tripled, scored twice and had one RBI.
McKenzy Becerra went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Taelor Walker singled twice and scored.
Taylor Black singled and scored a pair of runs.
Marisa Dominguez went 3-for-4 and scored two runs.
Gianna Gonzalez had an RBI single.
Ashley Kirshman walked twice and scored two runs.
Lauryn Reddel walked twice and singled.
Lilianna Acosta singled and Ryanna Alano scored once in Tuesday’s win.
The Bulldogs are now just a Thursday home win against Glendora from finishing the 2023 season unscathed.
