On Tuesday, the Alverno Heights Academy claimed a 5-0 nonleague victory over St. Genevieve.
Adrianna Russom tossed a six-hit shutout.
Russom walked one and fanned three St. Genevieve batters.
Offensively, Trinity Godson walked, singled, doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Andrea Mercado went 2-for-3 with a double, run and two RBIs.
Alyssa Marquez singled twice, scored and had one RBI.
Destinee Kaya had a pair of singles and scored.
Up next: Alverno will close out its regular season schedule today (Wednesday) against visiting Immaculate Heart.
