Girls Basketball:
Chino’s highly successful season came to an end on Tuesday night.
Hamilton claimed a 54-29 victory over the Cowboys in the first round of the CIF State Division 4 playoffs.
The Yankees used a 33-12 advantage in the second half to pull away.
Kinidi Curl led Hamilton with a game-high 23 points.
Jade Fort chipped in with 13.
London Gibbs and Kim Day had nice points apiece for Chino.
Before dropping last week’s CIF-SS title game, the Cowboys had been riding a 19-game winning streak.
